Friday 3rd September 2010 Cycle from London to Brighton
Meet at midnight at Sloane Square for the ride of your life
No crowds. No queues. Just a couple of hundred cyclists, riding through the night to Brighton.
Our London to Brighton bike ride is a ride like no other. Starting at Sloane Square, you’ll leave the bright streets of London behind, roll down empty lanes, stop halfway for coffee and cake and arrive at the seafront in time for breakfast. En route, you’ll make friends, marvel at the night sky and, if you’re very lucky, see dawn breaking over the South Downs.
You don't need a smart bike, and you don't have to be ultra-fit. You do have to bring a smile. Our "tail-end charlies" will look after stragglers and help with mechanicals. Our rolling wayfinder system will keep you on the right road.
This ride raises sponsorship for the Hospice, we must raise over £8000 every day to care for our patients, so please raise as much sponsorship as you can. They’ll be bonus prizes for everyone who raises over £600.
