The Hospice plays a vital role in helping people to live life as fully as they can right up until the end. Via expert clinical care we ensure that wherever possible peace, respect and calm remain – it’s very simple and very human ethos.

In-Patient Care
The In Patient Unit at the Martlets is a warm, light, friendly and airy place, with 18 beds providing the highest possible level of clinical care.
It's a common misconception that you only come to a hospice for end of life care, actually about 50% of Martlets patients come in for treatment and then return home.

Community and Outpatients Services
Whether patients use our Community Services or the Outpatients service they will be supported by an expert clinical team who work with both the patient and their families to ensure that in whatever time the patient has left their quality of life is maintained.
