How Can We Help?

Our Macmillan Volunteer Welfare Benefits Advisers are able to offer practical support with:

  • Welfare Benefit entitlement checks
  • Applying for Welfare Benefits, whether that's completing forms, making phone calls or letter writing
  • Accessing Macmillan and other charitable grants
  • Applying for help with health costs, such as travel to hospital
  • Applying for transport concessions, such as a disabled parking badge
  • Benefits appeals and decisions
  • Referrals to other service providers

This is a volunteer based home-visiting and outreach welfare benfits advice service for people affected by advanced cancer or other life limiting illnesses.
